Use Content To Grow Your Health Coaching Practice – Part 4 – Drive Quality Traffic to Your Website

The right content shared in the right places with the right strategy can help you reach more people and drive traffic back to your website.

Rule #1 – any time your content appears in places other than your website, make sure you point people back to your website.

When you write the content on your website, make sure that it is keyword-optimized to boost your SEO ranking. See this blog post for more tips.

Here are a few ways to use your content to drive quality traffic to your website:

  • Social media – share the links to your blog posts or your services with a catchy title. On Twitter, make sure to use keywords and/or hash tags to help you cut through the noise and reach the right people. In Pinterest, have your pins point back to your website.
  • Guest blogging – find websites that share your target market. If you are using existing content, you may want to adjust the wording or the intro to make it specific to the audience. Be sure to submit a bio with your article, focus on your expertise and the problems you solve for your clients. Include a link back to your site – a great way to drive traffic is to mention your free gift to give people a reason to click through. You can also send people to a landing page with no nav or sidebars to sign up for the free gift – some researches show that the sign up rate is higher this way. In your thank you and confirmation messages, make sure to highlight your products or services, and link back to your website.
  • Article submission sites – submit your articles to articles sites such as ezine articles. There are also many of these sites that focus on a narrower niche, such as health and wellness. Just like guest blogging, make sure you have a well-written bio, mentioning your free gift and a link back to your website to sign up.
