Position Your Website and Find Your Keywords for Maximum Google Visibility

Figuring out what people are searching for online can help you position your keywords and content in your website for maximum visibility. If you are doing Goggle Pay Per Click, it’s important that you buy the keyword(s) that gives you the most bang for your buck.

If you go to http://www.keywordspy.com and search for a keyword, you will get a list of metrics:

  • PPC (pay per click) Advertisers – how many people are advertising with these keywords
  • CPC (cost per click) – how much will each click cost you
  • Search volume – how many searches per month

If you want to see if the keyword you want to advertise is worth the money, here is the range that you want to be looking for:

  • PPC Advertisers – between 10-50 – you don’t want to be in a field too competitive, yet if no one is advertising that keyword, it’s probably not selling
  • CPC – $1.00 to$2.50 is a good range that the keyword is worth something but will not break your bank with 5 clicks
  • Search volume – 10,000 – 80,000 is a good range
